It was lunch time. Helen opened her bag. Peanut Butter and Jelly. Her favorite.

Roy had already eaten his lunch.
But he was still hungry.

Roy grabbed Helen's lunch.
"That looks good!" he said stuffing
it into his mouth.

"Hey, that's my lunch!" Helen yelled.
But it was too late. Roy ate it all.

At recess the gators played kickball.
Roy pushed his way to the front of the line.
"Wait your turn!" shouted Ethan.

"He needs to learn a lesson," Helen said.
Ethan agreed.

The next day Helen opened her lunch.
"This looks great!" she said.

Before she could bite her sandwich
Roy grabbed it from her hand.

Roy took a big bite!
"UGGGG!" He shouted as he spit it out.
"It's squid and pickles!" shouted Helen.
"That's what you get for bad manners!"

At recess the gators played ball without Roy.
"You have no manners!" shouted Ethan.

Roy sat alone and thought a long time.

"May I PLEASE play too?"
he finally said to them.
When it was Roy's turn
he kicked a home run.
Helen and Ethan cheered the loudest.

never want to meet.
Better watch your manners
or that's all you'll eat!"
