There were three little round buttons on little Will's favorite jacket. The buttons were the best of friends.
Page 2 | The Lost Button
Little Will would love to put on his favorite jacket, button up the middle button and go for walk in the park with his daddy. Little Will and the buttons would see all sorts of wonderful things at the park.
Page 3 | The Lost Button
A horse galloping along and saying "neigh, neigh" or ducks swimming in the pond saying "quack quack" to little Will and the buttons .
Page 4 | The Lost Button
One day, as little Will was walking in the park with his dad, the middle button became a little loose. As little Will kept walking, it got more and more loose, until it finally fell off.
Page 5 | The Lost Button
The button fell and dropped right on the green grass, but little Will and his dad didn't notice anything and they just kept walking. The other buttons tried their best to tell little Will and his dad that their friend had fallen off, but they didn't hear them.
Page 6 | The Lost Button
The middle button was so sad that he was no longer with his friends and little Will. But luckily, buttons' very good friend the squirrel saw the middle button fall and rushed over to pick it up.
Page 7 | The Lost Button
The friendly squirrel picked up the middle button and ran as quickly as possible to catch up to little Will who was completely unaware that he lost his middle button. The squirrel climbed up little Will and stood right on his shoulder.
Page 8 | The Lost Button
Little Will was so grateful that the squirrel found his button. He thanked the squirrel over and over again. Now little Will had to rush home so he could have his mommy sew the button back on his favorite jacket.
Page 9 | The Lost Button
Will's mommy finished sewing the middle button back on little Will's favorite jacket and the top and bottom buttons were so happy to have their friend back again.
